Essential storage keeps you signed in and remembers game progress, your satchel and your theme. Optional video and map embeds stay off until you allow them. Ad-supported browser games can also use Google AdSense. Advertising consent is handled separately by Google's consent message; allowing embeds does not consent to ads.
Drakudoku checks your signed-in account for the website ad-free entitlement before loading its advertising provider. Otherwise, Google's published consent message collects applicable choices before the game requests a banner. We request non-personalised ads; these can still use cookies or other device storage for purposes such as measurement and fraud prevention. If required consent is declined or cannot be checked, Drakudoku makes no ad request.
Choose Ad privacy in the Drakudoku menu to revisit your advertising consent. This is separate from the embed reset below. A one-off 199 LitCoins website purchase removes ads across Ever After Games on the web when you are signed in to that account. App-store Remove Ads purchases use the relevant store and apply to the app.
These are needed for the site to function and do not require consent:
| What | Set by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase Authentication (IndexedDB / local storage) | Google Firebase, on this site | Keeps you signed in to your Ever After account. |
eag-theme, eag-consent, eag_my_store, saved achievements (local storage) | This site | Remembers your theme, your cookie choice, your chosen store and game progress. Never leaves your device except where synced to your account. |
| Shopify checkout cookies | Shopify, on the checkout pages | Runs the secure checkout (cart, session, fraud prevention) when you buy physical goods. Set on Shopify's own domain during checkout. |
These load only if you allow them, either site-wide in the cookie banner ("Allow embeds") or one at a time by tapping "Load the video" / "Load the map" on the embed itself:
| What | Set by | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube video player (we use youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced player) | YouTube / Google | Plays painting tutorial videos. YouTube may set cookies and receive your IP address when the player loads or plays. |
Video thumbnail images are fetched from YouTube's image servers; plain images cannot set cookies.
You can reset your cookie choice at any time. The banner will ask again on your next visit to the main site.
You can also clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential storage may stop sign-in and the satchel from working.
How we handle personal data generally is covered in our Privacy Policy. Questions? hello@everaftergames.com.
